The FDA has just approved an experimental drug that gets rid of an age old problem for people that have a little more weight to them, the dreaded double chin. The experimental drug is called Kybella. The way the drug works is that it has the same acid that is found in the body that absorbs normal everyday fat. Surgery will not be needed by this brand new procedure, but the drug needs to be injected via dermatologists. The side effects are swelling, bruising, redness and some nerve damage in the jaw that may cause a crooked smile, Lastly, health insurance providers do not cover this treatment.
