The Supreme Court has made a groundbreaking decision in regards to prayer within local governmental meetings.  They have ruled in a tough 5-4 decision that prayer before local council meetings is acceptable because it is something that has been traditionally done for plenty of years and does not violate the First Amendment Rights of freedom of religion.  As long as the prayer does not discriminate against non-Christians or tries to recruit people to convert to other religions, prayer would be acceptable.  To read more about this story, click the link below.
