Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
That’s what I thought of when Morgan Freeman, 80, was accused by multiple women of sexual harassment and was forced to apologize. But Freeman was not facing criminal charges. Harvey Weinstein is another matter.
The movie mogul was arrested Friday in New York on charges of rape and sexual assault. Weinstein is facing a $10 million bond, which is extremely high.
But when Weinstein’s case goes to trial, will he be treated the same way as Bill Cosby, who was tried twice and had multiple women testify against him? Will Weinstein’s accomplishments be erased like Cosby’s were? Will his awards be taken back? Will justice be blind?
America will be watching to see the outcome, but God is in control, and God cannot be mocked, because the book of Galatians is right. A man reaps what he sows.
