On Tuesday America saw two Kanye’s. He first opened up about mental health challenges, art, and family in a two-hour interview with radio host Charlamagne Tha God.

In the second interview, Kanye sat with TMZ founder and editor Harvey Levin for an interview.

When you hear about slavery for 400 years … For 400 years? That sounds like a choice … You were there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all. It’s like we’re mentally imprisoned.

During the interview, TMZ Senior Producer Van Lathan said to Kanye:

“While you are making music and being an artist and living the life that you’ve earned by being a genius, the rest of us in society have to deal with these threats to our lives,” Lathan said.

“We have to deal with the marginalization that’s come from the 400 years of slavery that you said for our people was a choice.”

Stephon Clark, a Sacremento, CA man who was killed by police in March, was shot seven times, an autopsy released by the Sacremento County coroner says.

Dr. Gregory Reiber, a forensic pathologist whom Sacramento officials asked to review the autopsy conducted by the county, said the apparent sequence of the bullets does “not support the assertion that Clark was shot primarily from behind.” The private autopsy mistook one exit wound, to the left torso, for an entrance wound, Dr. Reiber said.

“This is a significant error, as it leads to incorrect conclusions regarding the relative positions of the victim and shooters during the event,” he said.
