Scores of New Yorkers took to the streets on Wednesday evening to express their discontent with Donald Trump‘s election win. Hundreds of protesters led a march from Union Square to Trump Tower. Along the way they held signs with the words “Don’t Lose Hope,” and “Trump Makes America Hate.” They also shouted things like “Not my president.” “America has not voted for Donald Trump’s policies, which don’t exist. A separate protest, coordinated by the Answer Coalition, was held near the Trump Tower as well. Approximately 65 demonstrators were apprehended at Trump Tower for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Read more.
