Media mogul Tyler Perry is singing the praises of Sony’s faith-based film, Miracles From Heaven.
“I’m sitting here STUNNED!!! I can’t believe how moved I was by Miracles from Heaven!!! Lord!! You have to see it!,” wrote the 34th Street CEO on Facebook.
The inspirational saga was well-received at the box office, debuting at #3, with a $15 million weekend opening. It began showing in theaters Wednesday, March 16 and had grossed nearly $20 million as of March 21, according to Box Office Mojo, already surpassing its $13 million production budget.
“All I can say is WOW! What a great family movie. So powerful,” said the 46-year-old who is still celebrating the airing of the successful live musical “The Passion,” which he hosted on Fox on Palm Sunday.
