A Houston man saved a woman and two little girls from a blazing house fire Friday morning, Click2Houston reports.
The man, who was living with the woman and her granddaughters, was woken up by a loud boom, which made him notice the smoke and fire that was consuming the house.
He rushed to the woman’s room and saw she was in trouble:
“I jumped out the bed and ran to her room, and something was on top of her — sheetrock and what not,” he said.
He took her to safety outside, and then heroically ran back in to rescue the two little girls.
The blaze, which authorities believe to be an electrical fire, consumed all of the family’s clothes, laptops, and other items.
But they are happy to have their lives.
