  5. 1 pound mixed wild mushrooms, chopped*
  6. 1 bay leaf
  7. 1/4 cup red wine
  8. 1 cup chicken stock
  9. 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  10. 1 (12-ounce) package wonton wraps*
  11. 1 egg, beaten
  12. vegetable oil, for frying
