A new report on the Freddie Gray case states that the police transport van carrying Mr. Gray made an additional stop prior to arriving to the Baltimore area precinct. This news comes out after the releasing of Mr. Gray’s police record to the public. 25-year-old Freddie Gray suffered a spinal injury while in police custody and ultimately succumbed to his injuries. This has put the citizens of Baltimore in a state of shock and anger, which resulted in mass rioting and looting within certain Baltimore communities earlier this week after Mr. Gray’s funeral. The Baltimore police have handed over their files of information about the case to city prosecutors that will investigate the matter. Also, a witness that was in the transport at the same time of Freddy Gray’s custody claims that Freddie’s injuries could have been self-inflicted even though he did not physically see him hurt himself, but heard banging.
