Philly International Warning to Travelers!

Philly International is warning travelers flying to and through Chicago to check with your airline regarding the status of your flight. More than 400 flights have already been canceled today as the FAA works to build a new air traffic control center in the Chicago area, due to an act of sabotage Friday by a contract worker. Getting things back to normal will take a couple of weeks or more.

Milk and Mail

You may soon receive your milk and mail at the same time if the United States Post Office has its way under a new plan to help turn its finances around! The U.S. Postal Service is asking for permission to start delivering groceries to our doorsteps early in the morning! If approved, the postal service wants to begin to test their special touch for grocery delivery on Oct. 24.Wow!


It’s A “No Go” For The Eagles 4-0!

Are the Philadelphia Eagles 4-0? That would be a, “No!” The Eagles took on the San Francisco 49ers and was leading by the half 21-13. That didn’t last long! The 49ers came back to beat The Eagles 26-21. Will anybody agree with me that the Eagles offense needs to be put in “time out” for a few days? Meanwhile, the Eagles are now 3-1, tying with the Dallas Cowboys in the East!

Good News For Gas Prices!

Predictions are that gasoline will soon drop to below $3 a barrel again.

International Coffee Day!

This annual event is observed in a handful of countries for the celebration and enjoyment of the popular beverage coffee. Some of the places offering coffee deals in celebration of today that I know of are Dunkin Donuts, Krispy Kreme and McDonalds.

At the box office this weekend, Denzel Washington’s new movie, “The Equalizer” came in at #1 bring in $35M!
