salad-Hello Beautiful

You know that salad you brought to work today? It doesn’t have to be soggy by lunchtime. If you are like me, I don’t like a soggy salad. When packing it for my lunch, I’ll put the salad in one bowl and my salad dressing in another bowl. However, there is another way to transport salad and dressing in one.

According to Food author Julia Mirabella, she suggests adding your salad ingredients as layers in a Mason jar, beginning with the salad dressing, followed by the hard veggies that won’t wither when they sit in liquid. However, if you like your salad with more fruit than hard veggies, it may not be the solution for you.
