Brother Marcus was on air Last week and he kept getting a call from a listener who was determined to call the Praise 103.9 lines to win tickets to the Inspiration and Music Conference. He kept trying and trying and just would NOT give up. He really wanted to win tickets. When Brother Marcus said caller number 10 call in and you win!!! guess who called in and was caller number 10. You Guessed it Elijah Jackson!!

Later in the week Brother Marcus received an Instagram message with this young man playing the keyboard and singing Take me to the King by Tamela Mann. Brother Marcus was not aware that this was the same young man that WON tickets and left a comment. Shortly he found out this this was a very Blessed child and wanted to meet him at a concert in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. Brother Marcus spent some time talking with this young man and Before the concert started he Brought him on stage to sing. The People loved this young man instantly! This young man is a TRUE GIFT and Blessing from GOD.

Elijah Jackson was born with a degenerative heart disease. He has had three heart surgeries and brain surgery. Several Doctors said he was going to be a vegetable and he would never be like a normal child. At 8 months he lost his vision due to a misdiagnosis by physicians. He is now 8 years old, and despite the fact that he is visually impaired he attends Afton Elementary and he is excelling at a rate that his beyond his peers. He praises and worships God every minute of the day, he sings in the choir at church (Victory Fellowship Ministries), he loves Gospel music and he LOVES Tamela Mann (lol…he sings her songs in his sleep). Elijah has also taught himself how to play the organ and the drums. His personality is invigorating and he is the most spiritually uplifting child i’ve ever known in my entire life.

This young man is the Most Inspirational Child of the week.
