Benjamin “BeBe” Winans was born on Sept. 17, 1962, into the famous gospel-singing Winans Family. BeBe and Cece (Priscilla) achieved broad visibility as vocalists for the Evangelical television show PTL Club. The duo went on to become one of the most successful crossover gospel/R&B acts of the 1980s and 1990s. The pair split in 1996, going on to further success as solo artists.
