Many people have speculated that the daring blue dress 32-year-old preacher’s wife Meagan Good wore to the BET Awards caused tension both publicly, as well as privately, in her marriage to Minister DeVon Franklin. But the feisty Christian actress shut all that down in a recent interview.
According to the newlywed, not only is her soulmate unaffected by the criticism and gossip, but Mr. Franklin fully embraces Good’s individuality, and calms her down when her feelings are wounded by the negative outcries.
“My husband…he loves me for me, you know, every part of me,” she explains in a video discussion with Hip Hollywood.
“And he loved me for me before he married me. That’s why he chose to marry me, because of what’s in my heart.”
