The History Channel’s original miniseries “The Bible” drew a whopping 13.1 million viewers on its Sunday night debut, making it the second most-watched premiere of a non-sports cable show in history.
The 10-hour scripted mini-series, which will run through Resurrection Sunday, March 31, aims to take viewers on a dramatic, special effects-filled journey through the world’s most popular book, from the story of Noah’s Ark to the Exodus and the life of Jesus.
The biggest supporters of the mini-series include: Bishop T.D. Jakes, Pastor Joel Osteen and Pastor Rick Warren.
