NBA Basketball Hall Of Famer Eving “Magic” Johnson” will be launching his own television network called Aspire, a 24-hour channel with a focus on what Johnson called positive, uplifting images of African-Americans. Aspire, which will be broadcasted through comcast, will include a mixture of film, music and comedy. Aspire is scheduled to launch June 3oth and Magic Johnson will become second A-list celebrity to launch a network in the past two years (Oprah Winfrey being the first).
