Some people claim that there will be a cataclysmic event on December 21, 2012. The say the cataclysmic event is supported by astronomical alignments and ancient Mayan calendars. Others believe the world will end as a result of of the earth colliding with a black hole or a passing asteroid. Could these predictions come true? If so what will come of mankind, will we survive? Will 2012 mark the end of the world and the start of a new era?
These are the questions that many people are asking around the dinner table now a days. Daniel Whyte III gives clues to what might happen if the world ended in a article called “If The World Ends On Dec 21st, Where Will You Go?” In if he talks about End Time events as refereed to in the bible, as well as the return of Jesus Christ. Check out some of the article below…
THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST
According to the Bible no one knows when this will occur, but it will take place. Acts 1:7-11 states, “And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” Jesus will come to take those who believe/trust in Him to Heaven.
Terrible judgments will come on the earth and millions of people will die as a result of wars, famines, earthquakes, plagues, storms, and other terrifying catastrophes.
After seven years of judgment on the earth, Jesus will come back to the earth and rule for a thousand years. Revelation 20:4 and 6 states, “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years…Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
For the first time ever, there will be peace. Then God will destroy the earth and replace it with a new heaven and earth. 2 Peter 3:10 and 13 reads, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up…Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
Revelation 21:4 states, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Satan will be finally defeated. Revelation 20:7-10 reads, “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
