According to a recent survey, 44% of women actually hate shopping for clothes! More than half say it’s the often-miserable process of trying things on that makes them dread trips to the mall. Fit is the issue for more than 40% of female shoppers, who say sorting through the racks to find clothes that look good is an unpleasant experience.
The general consensus is that most clothes today are aimed at young, thin women, leaving out the majority of shoppers. New moms are the most averse to shopping, and commonly complain they can’t find things that fit or flatter them. And more than a quarter of women say it’s difficult to find fashionable clothes for their age. No wonder women hate trying things on…let’s face it, between those distorted mirrors and that harsh lighting, does ANYONE look good in a fitting room?
