Wife gets stuck while checking hubby’s SMS messages
A wife who reckoned her son’s treehouse was the best place to check her husband’s cellphone for evidence he’d been fooling around had to be freed by police from the elevated clubhouse.
The unnamed woman from Skåne, southern Sweden, apparently got a visit from the green-eyed monster early this morning, and snuck out of the house to scour her other half’s text messages.
The availability of the phone proved handy when she got trapped in the structure, and she called for law enforcement assistance.
Martin Carlsson from Skåne police told Kvällsposten: “We helped her down after a while. She thanked us and ran back into the house where her husband was still sleeping.”
Carlsson – who described the call-out as “probably one of the strangest I have been involved in” – confirmed the woman had “found a text message that she didn’t like”, but details of the couple’s current marital status is unknown.
