The shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin really has emotions running high. So much so that an elderly couple has become involved because their son’s name is William George Zimmerman, who lived in their Sanford area home in the mid-1990s; however, they are not related to the George Zimmerman, who killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
Meanwhile, somebody tweeted the supposedly address of George Zimmerman, which turned out to be the address of an elderly couple. In return, filmmaker Spike Lee retweeted what he thought was the actually address of George Zimmerman; which caused this couple to be the target of threats, forcing the couple to leave their Florida home.
Spike Lee has apologized to the couple as well as settled with them an undisclosed amount of money.
