Tye Tribbett Shuts Down MGM National Harbor with “V20 Live!”

If you weren’t in the building on Juneteenth, you missed out! Gospel icon Tye Tribbett completely transformed the space, celebrating the 20th anniversary of his legendary, genre-shaping album Victory Live!

The monumental “V20 Live!” orchestral experience went down at The Theater at MGM National Harbor. The energy was absolutely electric from the second the doors opened! The gospel community showed up in droves, completely selling out the venue while rocking Tye’s signature “Tux and Chucks” dress code. The crowd blended formal elegance with classic Chuck Taylor sneakers, perfectly matching the high, radical praise energy that Tye has blessed us with for two decades.

This wasn’t just a nostalgic stroll down memory lane; it was a total spiritual reawakening. Backed by a magnificent, soaring live orchestra, Tye Tribbett & G.A. delivered reimagined, explosive renditions of “Bless the Lord” and “Victory,” which were anthems that defined a generation.

The three-time Grammy winner effortlessly turned that theater into a sanctuary. Juneteenth was a night of pure liberation, unmatched musical excellence, and collective joy! Two decades later, Tye Tribbett proved once again why his impact on gospel music is timeless.

We still have the victory!
