Krispy Kreme, which said in April it would return to the Philadelphia market, plans its first store for Northeast Philadelphia.

Dough Nuts for Doughnuts LLC, the local franchise group, will hire 60 people for the store, at 7855 Oxford Ave. in the Fox Chase neighborhood.

Dough Nuts for Doughnuts is run by two Philadelphia-raised cousins, Keith Morgan and Brian Zaslow. Morgan is former CEO of Horsham, Pa.-based AAMCO Transmissions. Zaslow is a former vice president of marketing for Philadelphia-based Aramark.

Krispy Kreme (NYSE:KKD), which is based in Winston-Salem, N.C., has 630 locations around the world.

In the Philadelphia market, Krispy Kreme closed its four stores in 2005.
