When the FBI raided Roger Stone’s Florida home on Friday, most Americans only had one question: Who’s Roger Stone?
Despite the longtime Trump associate pulling one political trick after another, most people know more about R. Kelly than they do about R. Stone. But when the FBI showed up before dawn with shotguns, vests, and warrants, Stone finally got the attention he was looking for. But all attention ain’t good attention. Just ask Michael Jackson’s family now that that documentary bout to drop.
But back to Roger Stone. Who is he? It depends on who you ask. For Trump’s defenders, Stone is just a weirdo with a tattoo of Richard Nixon on his back. If you ask Stone himself, he’s a master of political dirty tricks. If you ask Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Stone is the missing link between the Trump campaign, Wikileaks, and the Russians who helped Trump win.
But if you ask me, Roger Stone is just another rich guy who’s too weak to take the heat. How else to describe a man who spent years bragging about how he helped Wikileaks hack the Clinton campaign, then played victim when he got arrested for it?
How else to describe a man who communicated with Russian hackers, then claimed he had nothing to do with Russian collusion?
How else to describe a guy who swore up and down he was a political OG, but folded like a cheap shirt when the feds raided his crib.
There’s only one way to describe a guy like that—too weak to take the heat.
Stone is the kind of guy who would threaten to hurt another man’s dog if he testified against Trump, then complain that the FBI scared HIS dog when they raided his house
Bottom line, Roger Stone ain’t no gangster, but after what he did to America, he needs to be treated like one.

If you’re an immigrant whose children were taken at the border, Roger Stone helped Russia make that possible.
If you’re a federal worker who just missed a month worth of paychecks, Roger Stone helped Russia divide this country.
So yeah, they shoulda came like they were coming for Al Capone. Yeah, they shoulda treated him like the gangster he claims to be. Yeah, they ought to give him all the years that he’s got coming. Even if he’s too weak to take the heat.
