Looks like this year’s Academy Awards will take place without a host.
After all of the controversy surrounding comedian Kevin Hart’s departure from the hosting gig, and with no “takers”, the Academy is said to be going ‘hostless’ for Hollywood’s biggest night.
This is the first time in almost three decades that the show will not have a host. Producers plan to use various A-listers to introduce various segments instead of relying on one marquee name to kick things off in the monologue.
The Academy Awards air on ABC on February 24 live from Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.
Should be interesting.
