CBS Philly- Delaware State Police are looking for a man and woman who they said held up a New Castle County Walmart this morning. But they didn’t get away with much money after another man charged inside to stop them.
“My adrenaline was going so much I wasn’t even thinking” said Ron Eads, who was trying to pick up his wife from work at the Walmart on Rt. 40 just after midnight.
Eads, a former security guard, knew an armed robbery was happening– all while his wife and several other Walmart employees were helplessly inside. So he went to his pickup truck, pulled out a breaker bar and charged inside. Eads then hurled it towards the suspects but just missed them.
