Today’s Daily Faith Lift™ is designed to remind you of the difference between a house and a home.
I’ve been away at home in Memphis over the last few days to spend time with my family and my aunt, as she continues to fight Stage IV stomach cancer. I thank God that she is a warrior and not a worrier!
As I reflected during my quiet time at home, I realized even more how blessed I am to have a home I can go to. I realized that, “A house is not a home.” It reminded me of one of aunt’s favorite songs by the late R & B singer Luther Vandross with that same title.
It is so true; a house is not a home….
“A house is made of walls and beams but a home is made of love and dreams!”
Therefore, be intentional of making your house a home!
