The U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder should be arriving in Ferguson, Mo. soon to meet with citizens, clergy, community leaders, FBI officials, Department of Justice personnel who are working on the case and Michael Brown’s family. Holder is hoping that he can help calm tensions in Ferguson even more; following the shooting death of 18-year-old unarmed Michael Brown by an officer.
A grand jury may also begin hearing evidence today in Brown’s shooting death. Continue to pray for the Brown family as they prepare for Michael Brown’s funeral, which is set for Monday.
As we continue to deal with the aftermath of the shooting death of u Michael Brown by an officer in Ferguson, another man was shot and killed yesterday by an officer in St. Louis, Mo. In this case, authorities said the African-American man was brandishing a knife.
This violence has to stop. ALL life has value! I don’t care what race you are! Life is valuable! It is a gift from God! We all should treat it that way. Not only when it comes to police but when it comes to us as a people as well!
