An angry President Barack Obama addressed the nation after the U.S. Senate rejected a bill that would expand background checks on firearm sales, closing loopholes on gun shows and private sales. The President called the non-action of the Senate, “A shameful day for Washington.” Polls show that 90% of Americans agreed with the changes in the background check amendment, leaving a lot of Americans confused and looking for answers.
