The Flu Causes Boston To Declare A Public Health Emergency!

As of Wednesday, 18 flu-related deaths were reported in Boston causing the declaration of a public health emergency. This has been a harsh flu season for the city. According to Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, there have been about 700 confirmed cases of the flu in Boston so far this season, compared with 70 all of last season.
