This morning my friend and sister in Christ sent me an awesome devotion from the “The Jesus Calling Christmas Devotional” about the importance of us mastering our time!
We all can become so busy at times to the point that we are giving God what is leftover of our time. Even when our soul is crying out for more time with God!
Thank God that He doesn’t operate on our time! God dwells in timelessness! I was reminded today that time is for our protection because we are frail creatures that can handle only twenty-four hours at a time.
The devotion also says that time can also be a tyrant, ticking away relentlessly in our mind. We must touch and agree to learn to master time, or it will master us. Though we time-bound creatures, we must seek to meet God in timelessness. It is when we focus on God’s Presence, the demands of time and tasks will diminish; giving us peace.
