2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (NKJV)
Look at how Paul shows us the three characteristics of an effective Christian: power, love and a sound mind. Therefore, the Word is clear that fear is not of God. So what is fear? F.E.A.R. is the acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real.
To be an effective Christian we must move from fear to faith. How do we do that? We believe and trust that F.A.I.T.H. is the acronym for Full Assurance In Trusting Him.
