Well, nowadays there are hardly any secrets anymore, but since the program hasn’t aired yet, some folks may not know who the big winners were at this year’s Stellar Awards, hosted by Praise 107.9’s Erica Campbell of Mary Mary and 10 time award winner Anthony Brown, of Anthony Brown and Group TherAPy.

If you haven’t already figured it out, Travis Greene and Tamela Mann topped all winners with 7 and 6 awards respectively at the 32nd Annual Stellar Awards, held Saturday, March 25th in Las Vegas. Travis won in the following categories: Song of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, CD of the Year, Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year, Contemporary CD of the Year and Praise and Worship CD of the Year for “The Hill.” Frequent winner Tamela Mann won for Artist of the Year, Albertina Walker Female Artist of the Year, Producer of the Year, Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year, Traditional CD of the Year and Urban/Inspirational Single or Performance of the Year.
Special awards were presented by Stellar Awards founder Don Jackson to Spencer Taylor of the Highway QC’s (James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award) and Rev. Clay Evans (Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones Legend Award). This year’s Stellar Awards inductees include Fred Hammond, The Mississippi Mass Choir, Catherine Brewton, Harvey Watkins Jr. and Dr. Leonard Scott. In addition there were lots of incredible performances by…Wait – I’ll save something for the telecast!
The 32nd Annual Stellar Awards will air on Palm Sunday, April 9th at 6pm Eastern time on TV-One with encores at 8 and 11pm. You can see it ALL then!
