The Twitterverse and Instagram users were having a field day after Time Magazine announced that President-Elect Donald Trump had been named Person of the Year and revealed the magazine’s cover. Many observers saw what appeared to be horns on his head formed by the capital “M” in the word TIME. Time magazine denies any such intent. “Any resemblance to cats, bats or devil horns is entirely coincidental,” Time said. What do YOU think?

Alongside Trump’s picture, the caption says,”Donald Trump, President of the Divided States of America. As you probably know, Time’s yearly Person of the Year is selected to recognize the person who for better or worse has had the most impact on the world in the preceding year. As for the horn appearance, the same thing has happened to others on previous Time covers including Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Margaret Thatcher, Pope Francis and Darth Vader. Other candidates for this year’s “honor” included Hillary Clinton, Mark Zuckerberg, Beyonce, Olympian Simone Biles and others. By Time’s criteria of “having the most impact,” I tend to agree that our arrogant, crotch-grabbing, hatemongering President-Elect is probably the top choice. What do YOU think?
