After news broke that reality TV pair Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert had a violent fight last month, the two are getting support from within the gospel community.

On Monday, September 5, while guest hosting the Tom Joyner Morning Show, 28-year married couple David and Tamela Mann encouraged people to pray instead of speculate.

“They business is their business,” said “Take Me to the King” singer Tamela, 50. “You don’t know what they were doing. I mean, it’s just hearsay and plus, people add.”

Last month, Vincent, 47, and 39-year-old Tamar’s stay at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Atlanta, GA turned violent. In a publicly released 911 call, a friend of Tamar reported a fight between the two to police, claiming that Vincent, who allegedly fled the scene, had bitten his wife’s finger.

No charges were filed.

David, also 50, who stars and executive produces Bounce TV’s hit sitcom “Mann & Wife,” along with his wife, chimed in. “I say just keep them lifted up and everybody goes through some storms. I’m sure they’ve sat down and they’ve talked about it, because both of them seem like very

reasonable people.”
