This week on Praise In the City, I spoke with Shaleah Sutton, the founder of The Uniquely You Summit, who’s organized a town hall meeting for, by and about young girls. This town hall meeting is Ms. Sutton’s response to the beating death of Amy Joyner-Francis, a Wilmington Delaware high school student who was jumped by her peers in the school bathroom. The town hall meeting is for girls only, not adults are invited. This event will take place on May 14th and The Philadelphia Free Library on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
