Michael B. Jordan may have been snubbed for an Academy Award but the “Creed” actor was overwhelmingly appreciative for his NAACP Image Award.

Taraji P. Henson presented him the “Entertainer Of The Year” honor and the audience gave a thunderous applause and a standing ovation.

“This is such an honor to be in this category. I want to thank the NAACP, God again because this is an amazing year” he said.

“I’m proud to be black in this room” he added and the crowd went wild.

The 28-year-old also revealed that when he was a teenager, he used to sneak into the Image Awards “…and now I’m standing here as the Entertainer of the Year which is mind blowing.”

Congrats Bae! You’re more than deserving!
