Bobby White became internet cop of the year when he was caught playing basketball with a group of kids after neighbors called in a noise complaint.
Shaquille O’Neal was so inspired by the cop’s actions, that he requested to be involved in a similar effort for the community.
O’Neal asked Gainsesville Public Information officer Ben Tobias to keep the stunt under wraps so they could really surprise the kids.
“I became a cop to help people, and these kids will never forget the day Shaq rolled up to their neighborhood and played basketball with them,” Tobias said to Action News 30.
“Without my choice to keep it a secret, I’m not sure this day would have transpired like it did,” he added.
We are sure this super-star cameo made these kids’ day!
