A few years ago, GRAMMY®-nominated R&B singer/songwriter Jazmine Sullivan was in an abusive relationship that stripped away her joy and zeal for life.
Today, the 28-year-old is reflecting on how far she’s come, while giving thanks to God.
In an Instagram post, Sullivan shared an image of herself standing in a Pier 1 Imports store, a popular home décor retail chain.
“The last time I was in this store was during my abusive relationship w[ith] my ex 3-4 years ago. I used to come and walk around this store for hours just to get away from him and the house. I would cry in here,” she wrote
