Residents of the Big Apple are known for being less than impressed by what is going on around them.
Grammy-winning singer Brandy learned that the hard way when she recently boarded a subway train in the city. It may have been her incognito outfit of hoodie, headscarf and glasses, but during a rendition of the song “Home,” the singer was pretty much ignored.”Nobody heard me singing?” Brandy asked after belting out the tune. “Nobody cares? OK.”
The cold shoulder didn’t stop her from posting the video and writing on her blog “I decided to hit the subway and sing my little heart out. You’ve GOTTA check out this video and see why this fun-filled morning left me asking: Can a Sistah get ONE fan?!”
