Leah Still, the daughter of NFL player Devon Still who’s been battling cancer, received good news from doctors on Tuesday.

We got Leah’s MIBG Scans back tonight and the doctors told us they didn’t see any active disease in her body!!! We still have to wait for her MRI and bone biopsy results later this week. The story of the Still family went viral in the summer of 2014 after Devon was cut from the Cincinnati Bengals team after a lackluster training camp.

Team officials learned he’d been having trouble focusing on football after finding out his daughter Leah was battling cancer.

The Bengals signed the defense lineman to their practice squad so all of Leah’s treatment would be covered by the team.

Leah and Devon became a national sensation, sparking a movement to help “sack pediatric cancer.”
