There is a serious tanker fire in Pennsauken, NJ on the route 90 ramp to route 130 just as you come across the Betsy Ross Bridge that happened at 11 am this morning. Firefighters made the decision to let the tanker fire burn out. Thank goodness the tanker driver was able to get out and away from the truck before it blew up. The tanker truck is holding 8900 gallons of gas.

Residents in the area are being evacuated as a precaution. The smoke is so thick and high that it can be seen from West Philly.
