Holiday Travelers Face Lots Of Traffic And A Possible Wintry Mix!

If you plan to travel Wednesday for Thanksgiving, please keep an eye on the weather. We are expecting some rain and snow. If we get snow, we may get at least 4 inches. However, there are two scenarios for this storm, so we will have to wait and see what happens.

Not only is there a chance of winter weather to cause some headaches for travelers, the traffic will add to it. According to AAA Mid-Atlantic, if you are driving over the Thanksgiving holiday, you will have plenty of company. More than a half million Philadelphia-area residents will travel 50 miles or more away.

From Snow To Flooding In Buffalo!

Speaking of snow, temps are on the rise and the rain is falling, which means that 7 or 8 feet of snow in Buffalo will melt and cause dangerous flooding. The mayor is encouraging residents to pack up valuables in their basements as well as pack a bag in the event they have to evacuate their homes. Not only is the water an issue but what’s in the water such as sewage and runoff. Let’s please keep them all in our prayers.

In sports…

The Eagles (8-3) beat the Titans 43 to 24 Sunday. Now the Eagles are getting ready to have turkey in Texas for Thanksgiving Day as they take on the Dallas Cowboys (8-3)! That’s what I call a Thanksgiving showdown for 1st place in the NFC-East!
