It is with great sympathy and heartbreak, I’m sorry to confirm the passing of Dr. Myles Munroe, his wife Ruth and seven others, whom died Sunday, November 9 around 5pm local time. Dr. Munroe’s private jet reportedly was coming in for a landing, hit a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard, burst into flames and then crashed to the ground near a junkyard area in Grand Bahama, due to a thunderstorm.
According to a police source, the plane was reportedly heading to Grand Bahama for the Global Leadership Forum hosted by Bahamas Faith Ministries. According to post on Dr. Munroe’s Facebook page:
Dear Facebook Friends,
On behalf of Myles Munroe International and ITWLA. We would like to inform you that the Global Leadership Forum will continue. The Forum will be for two and a half days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning). This is what Dr. Munroe would have wanted. Please keep his family and the ministry in prayers.
Please keep Dr. Munroe’s two children, their family, the family of the other passengers, as well as Dr. Munroe’s Bahamas Faith Ministries congregation in your prayers.
