No Strike for Septa!
Thanks to a tentative agreement that was reached late Friday night between Septa and the union, commuters breathed a sigh of relief as trolleys, trains and buses were on the move this morning. Meanwhile, in order to seal the deal, the nearly 5,000 bus drivers, trolley and subway operators will have to sign on the dotted line.
Gas Prices Continue to Fall!
Prices at the gas pump continue to fall. According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas is now below $3.00 in most states; the lowest in four years. I’m loving this. It’s like an early Christmas present.
Eagles Win and Lose!
Well, it was a win and a lost for the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Eagles won against Houston, 31-21 but they lost quarterback Nick Foles due to a reported broken collarbone as well as the leader of their defense, linebacker DeMeco Ryans due to a reported torn Achilles. My prayers go to the injured players that they heal well very soon!
