The official awards show for Christian Hip-Hop and Urban Gospel music took place over the weekend in New York City and among the big winners of the night were DA’ T.R.U.T.H, Andy Mineo, Social Club, Hee-Sun Lee, and Papa San. The Kingdom Choice Awards (KCA) was founded by Kingdom Time Entertainment CEO, Marcus Hall, in 2009 and has been a huge success in the urban gospel community ever since. The event was held at Kumble Theater on Saturday night at the Long Island University campus, located in the Downtown Brooklyn section of New York City, and some of the most prominent names in Christian hip-hop attended. Hip Hop legends and trailblazers Mike Peace and Corey Red were among the attendees.
The KCA had a very prestigious and professional set up and it gave those in attendance the official award show experience. The show opened up with a performance from the night’s host Brinson, who did a great job at keeping the crowd entertained throughout the entire night with his humor.
