As many of you are aware, I know first-hand how cancer affects an individual and his/her family. My aunt is a 12-year breast cancer survivor! However, cancer has knocked on her door once again in the form of stage IV stomach cancer, the most aggressive of its kind. My aunt is a fighter! She has put on the full armor of God and has been joined by an awesome team of doctors to aggressively attack the tumor with chemo. My aunt will be 60-years-old in October. I can’t imagine a child enduring the side effects of cancer, the way in which my aunt is experiencing.
This is another reason why I will pray harder, fight harder and walk harder for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this year. However, I cannot do this alone. I need you!
