A twin baby born in Thailand is rejected by the biological parents after birth and left with the surrogate mother. Baby Gammy was left with the surrogate mother after the Australian family that were the biological parents decided not to care for him due to his condition. They claim that they were never notified about baby Gammy’s condition. Also, when the family came to the hospital to visit the twins, there was no interaction with Gammy and when it was feeding time, he was ignored versus baby Gammy’s sibling. The Hope for Gammy fund has been created to take care the ill baby because Gammy has to be put in a special care unit at an advanced Thailand hospital for treatment for his Down Syndrome condition.
