Comcast is ready to change the Philly skyline with another tower. The new glass tower will open in 2017 and will be the tallest building Philly; making it the United States’ eighth tallest building.

A Philadelphia Police Officer Accused Of Police Brutality!
Darrin Manning, a 16-year old from West Philadelphia, says he was the victim of police brutality. Manning is a straight-A sophomore at Mathematics, Civics And Sciences Charter School. Manning and a group of teammates were stopped by police near 15th and Girard for unknown reasons while walking to an afternoon basketball game.
The boys were later arrested for aggravated assault and resisting arrest. According to Manning, his scrotum was grabbed by a female police officer to the point of injury. Manning is still getting around in a wheelchair and doctors say he may never be able to have children.
An internal investigation has been launched by the Philadelphia Police Department. Meanwhile, several community groups are holding a town hall meeting next week at 7:30 PM at Catalyst For Change Church located at 3727 Baring Street, where Pastor Keon Gerow is pastor. State Rep. Cherelle Parker Arrested For DUI
Wednesday, State Rep. Cherelle Parker (D-Philadelphia) had all DUI charges against her reinstated by a Philadelphia judge. These charges stem from April 30th when Parker was pulled over in a state-issued car for driving the wrong way on Haines Street and her blood alcohol-level was .16, twice the legal limit.
