On October 30th, 38-year-old Allen Iverson, will officially hang up his jersey and announce his retirement at the Philadelphia 76er’s home opener.

Iverson played his first 10 seasons in Philly, where he took “Rookie of the Year” honors in 1997 after being the No. 1 overall pick out of Georgetown. He led the league in scoring in four of those seasons and steals in three; he earned the league’s MVP honors in 2001 when he led the Sixers to the NBA Finals.

However, Iverson never won an NBA championship.
