The funeral for Lee Thompson Young, who starred on “Rizzoli & Isles” will held Friday afternoon, August 23, on the Paramount Pictures lot where the TNT program is filmed.
The actor, 29, also known for playing the title character on Disney Channel’s “The Famous Jett Jackson,” was found dead Monday in his North Hollywood home. His death was determined to be from suicide.
On “Rizzoli & Isles,” Young played Barry Frost alongside Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander. The actor was set to return as a regular on the show, which had just been renewed for a fifth season.
In lieu of flowers, Young’s family is asking friends and fans to make a donation to the Young Storytellers Foundation, an organization which helps expose underprivileged kids to the arts.
The actor’s death is still a mystery; Young didn’t leave a suicide note.
